Whether you’re ready to buy now, or hope to be ready within a couple years, our workshop is a good step towards understanding realistic options and what’s possible to achieve. We provide access to tools and information that will allow you to confidently move through the homebuying process.

In our Home Buyer Readiness workshop, you will learn about the benefits of working with a HUD-approved housing counseling agency, like TLC. This 2-hour virtual workshop features information about TLC services, the resources available to first-time homebuyers, and the importance of the Fair Housing Act.

Participation is required for buyers receiving down payment assistance from the City of Tallahassee or Leon County’s programs.
