Karen B. Miller

Chief Executive Officer

Karen, a native of Orlando, Florida, relocated to the Tallahassee area in 2008, bringing with her over 30 years of experience working with at-risk youth and their families. A significant part of her career was spent as the Director of the Osceola Children’s Home for nineteen years, a role that showcased her leadership skills and her unwavering dedication to aiding victims of abuse and neglect. In this capacity, she managed a twenty-four-hour operation, overseeing a team of forty-two staff members and providing care for forty-two teenagers. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Transitioning into a new phase of her professional journey, Karen assumed the role of Homeownership Center Manager at the Tallahassee Lenders’ Consortium (TLC) and now holds the position of Chief Executive Officer. Under her guidance, TLC has expanded its services to include affordable multi-family rental. TLC operates as the City of Tallahassee and Leon County’s Community Land Trust, a testament to Karen’s strategic vision and leadership. Her active involvement in neighborhood revitalization and community building further underscores her unwavering dedication to serving the community.

Beyond her professional commitments at TLC, Karen is an engaged member of the Paul Russell Road Church of Christ and the Delta Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. She also fulfills the role of Executive Director of the Delta Kappa Omega Foundation, through which she provides valuable services to the Tallahassee community. In her personal life, Karen is married to Charlie and is a proud mother of three children and grandmother to five grandchildren.

Pamela Greene

Assistant Executive Director

Pamela Greene has been with the Tallahassee Lenders’ Consortium since 2019 and currently holds the position of assistant executive director. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and is licensed as an Independent Insurance Adjuster, ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate, and Florida Notary. Pamela, the oldest of three children, grew up in Gadsden County, FL, and began her career in the U.S. Navy as a logistics specialist. Throughout her enlistment, she served stateside in Charleston, S.C., Washington, D.C., and aboard the U.S.S. Mount Whitney. She received several service awards, including the Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Medal, and Good Conduct Award. Her experience in the Navy laid the foundation for a life of service and leadership.

After completing her military service, Pamela worked for twelve and a half years as a Lead Administrator in the modular building industry. She oversaw operations for three branch offices located in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

As the Assistant Executive Director at the Tallahassee Lenders’ Consortium, Pamela leads the Sustainable Business Initiative (SBI). This initiative aims to shift the agency’s focus from internal operations to a customer-centric model, impacting the mission and contributing to sustainable growth.

Pamela’s guiding principle: “I believe in meeting people where they are and helping them navigate their path to where they aspire to be.”
